Meet leading employers at Jobs Expo Cork on Wednesday, 16 November 2016

Ireland’s leading employment and careers fair, Jobs Expo, returns to Cork on 16 November. Taking place at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, Jobs Expo Cork features a fantastic range of job opportunities. Exhibitors recruiting at the event come from a variety of sectors including technology, pharmaceutical, customer service, education, emergency services, healthcare, investment and retail.

“Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to work, or keen on a new challenge, there will be something for you at Jobs Expo Cork,” says organiser Bronagh Cotter of Careers Unlimited.

Both Irish and multinational companies are taking part in Jobs Expo Cork. Exhibitors include the National Ambulance Service, PhoneWatch, Laya Healthcare, Aspira, Sanofi and BNY Mellon. The Government of the Isle of Man will also be there, highlighting the variety of career opportunities on the island.

Jobs Expo Cork also has a specialist area dedicated to STEM jobs. The STEM Sector hosts some of the most prestigious international as well as national employers in science, technology, engineering, and medicine. Exhibitors taking part include pharmaceutical giants Alkermes and Sanofi, cutting edge tech firm ArtofUs and international IT specialists Aspira in addition to the innovative start-up HiUp.

“At Jobs Expo Cork there are opportunities for graduates, school leavers, highly skilled and unemployed people, as well as anyone thinking of changing careers or upskilling,” says Bronagh.

In addition to companies recruiting at the event, there will be a series of talks from industry insiders at Jobs Expo’s Seminar Zone. Speakers include the National Ambulance Service, who will give a seminar on careers opportunities in the emergency services. Geoff Brown of Hourglass Education will discuss common misconception about teaching in the UK. US Immigration Attorney Caro Kinsella also returns to Jobs Expo and will explain how getting a working visa to the States is not as hard as you might think.

Finally, the very popular Career Clinic returns. Over the course of the day, jobseekers will be able to meet one-on-one with career development coaches. The coaches will offer expert professional development advice and help jobseekers land their dream job. The Career Clinic is free of charge to all attendees.

Jobs Expo Dublin Announces Line-up for Saturday’s Jobs & Employment Fair

Ireland’s leading jobs and employment fair, Jobs Expo Dublin, returns to Dublin’s Croke Park on Saturday 22 October and is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

Event organisers, Careers Unlimited, have released their exhibitor and speaker lists for the event, which is expected to attract thousands of professional job-seekers.. A wide range of Irish and multinational companies, covering a variety of industries, are recruiting at the event. These include education, financial services, marketing, pharmaceutical, construction, engineering, retail sales, healthcare, tourism and hospitality.

In a new development for Jobs Expo Dublin, Saturday’s event will have two new, dedicated areas – the Education Village and the STEM Sector. The Education Village will host a number of education recruitment agencies looking to fill teacher posts around the world. Exhibitors will include UK teacher specialists, Hourglass Education, New Zealand’s Education Personnel, and international recruiters World Teachers and SeekTeachers.

Meanwhile, career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine are the focus of Jobs Expo’s new STEM Sector. Here, attendees will find some of the most prestigious international and national STEM employers. Employers taking part include Boston Scientific, B/E Aerospace, Alkermes, VWR International, Suir Engineering and Adaptive HVM.

In addition at Jobs Expo Dublin, there are opportunities in the emergency services, wealth management, tourism, hospitality, retail sales and more. Exhibitors include the National Ambulance Services, BNY Mellon, Citywest Hotel, Dixons Carphone, Seabourn Cruise Lines and Volkswagen Group Ireland. Jobs Expo has announced dates for its popular Dublin and Cork jobs and employment exhibitions. Jobs Expo Dublin will return to Croke Park’s Cusack Suite on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th May. Meanwhile, Jobs Expo Cork will return to Clayton Hotel Silver Springs on Thursday June 23rd.

The two events will feature employers seeking to fill job vacancies, an array of talks and seminars and the Career Clinic, where attendees can receive qualified career advice free-of-charge

Revised dates have been announced for Jobs Expo 2015, Dublin. The event will now take place on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th May, 2015, at Cusack Suite, Croke Park Dublin.
