With many avenues available to employers these days when deciding to recruit for their organisation, quality of candidate remains a top priority followed by the actual cost of recruiting. Professional positions, even those advertised on the many available job boards, still tend to be filled by recruitment companies and can take anywhere from 2 – 8 weeks to complete, often resulting in loss of productivity and management focus.
Now, a new Irish venture, Virtualexpos.ie offers specialised recruitment services, via dedicated online virtual recruitment exhibitions on a setor-by-sector basis. Virtualexpos.ie has been launched by Careers Unlimited, operator of the national Jobs Expo event, run twice-yearly at Croke Park. The concept is to organise industry-specific online career expos/fairs which connect employers with jobseekers. Virtualexpos.ie will run its first online virtual recruitment event, aimed at the IT sector on the 25th and 26th November 2015. The event will feature 10 major companies, including banks, IT and financial companies, recruiting for positions.
